Chris Tinselboer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Arcan Çapan in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Donald Hoiting hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, FCF north's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Chris Tinselboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Xie Yan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCF north fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Xie Yan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xie Yan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Chris Tinselboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FCF north's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Tinselboer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FCF north's Xie Yan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play. 48 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arcan Çapan. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xie Yan was the one to do the kick off. Chris Tinselboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arcan Çapan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after FCF north's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The supporters of FCF north booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chris Tinselboer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arcan Çapan in the 72nd minute of play. Mazinho Alcântara hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Yan in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Xie Yan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xie Yan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arcan Çapan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arcan Çapan in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arcan Çapan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FCF north.
