When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Viktor Ambrosetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Pereira in the 61st minute of play. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Yan do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã do Vale's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentín Carvallo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. If Natã do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubatuba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
