Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Narciso Xabat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dan Dalman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. In the 20th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Dalman in the 22nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Özcan Refah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teofilo Lope in the 29 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Cordarryl came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Victorio Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Lope made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Narciso Xabat immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Dalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Victorio Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Luis Lleir tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Dalman to strike the kick off in the second half. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Victorio Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Victorio Cordarryl in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th match minute, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Lope to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Cordarryl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ made a substitution. Jonathan Quin replaced Özcan Refah. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Cordarryl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Victorio Cordarryl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Victorio Cordarryl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Cordarryl saved ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ from getting behind. Teofilo Lope kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Teofilo Lope hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Teofilo Lope fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's protests and gave Teofilo Lope a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Teofilo Lope hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorio Cordarryl. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 95th minute, Jonathan Quin made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
