With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. When Boruc Niewiadomski in the 32nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Joaquin Gayoso kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 35 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Zawaski. Czarni Kozłowa Góra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
