Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) La France's Gaudencio Pelayo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 2 minute of play, and Gaudencio Pelayo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaudencio Pelayo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Jesus Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jesus Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as La France's Gaudencio Pelayo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Pelayo in the 13th minute. Prospero Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 16th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Distiratsu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Prospero Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Gaudencio Pelayo scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 4-0. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Distiratsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Gaudencio Pelayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When La France's Gaudencio Pelayo, in the 31st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for La France. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Distiratsu in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Ildefonso Distiratsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaudencio Pelayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 6-0 in the 40 minute of play. When Gaudencio Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the La France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Pelayo couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Nicolas Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Teodor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La France's Nicolas Teodor got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, La France's Gaudencio Pelayo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Pelayo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jorge Magrina hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by La France's Gaudencio Pelayo. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Pelayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 71st minute Ildefonso Distiratsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match La France got a corner. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Ferrando ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La France's corner Justino Ferrando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ricardo Zorita quite easily take care of the ball. Ildefonso Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Distiratsu in the 79th minute of play. Abram Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Prospero Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Justino Ferrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 minutes, Marco Tamayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the La France players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La France had played much better football throughout.
