Roch Olchawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Olchawa having to interfere. In the 12th minute, ACR SA's Zorko Hendrickx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 21st match minute, ACR SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuddusî Tozan to maneuver through the defense. Roch Olchawa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Fred-Marc Firmino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced ACR SA's goalkeeper Roch Olchawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ACR SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomir Grucza didn't get a good kick on the ball. ACR SA:s Roch Olchawa showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Zorko Hendrickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roch Olchawa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Olchawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zorko Hendrickx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Roch Olchawa made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roch Olchawa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ACR SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fred-Marc Firmino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roch Olchawa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to ACR SA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Waclaw Dranka hit a great ball. After 71 minutes ACR SA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ACR SA's Roch Olchawa managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Roch Olchawa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Olchawa having to interfere. In the 81st minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Olchawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Zorko Hendrickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Zorko Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Fred-Marc Firmino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Olchawa having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred-Marc Firmino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador played a much better game than ACR SA and deserved their victory. The ACR SA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
