After 4 minutes C.A. Calamuchita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo to fire away a dangerous shot which Florian Kicia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Kicia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Ignacio Perrando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 13th playminute. Florian Kicia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Calamuchita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florian Kicia quite easily take care of the ball. After 22 minutes, Luca Zorita made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Figueroa got free with Dante Lacasa in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Florian Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes C.A. Calamuchita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Tafalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florian Kicia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 38 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Kicia. C.A. Calamuchita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Wilfredo Figueroa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Han Hui did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-5 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Wilfredo Figueroa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Calamuchita's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Kicia came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Ignacio Perrando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Florian Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. 82 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-6. Florian Kicia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a little luck, C.A.
