Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Lekparken FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgard Alves ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Daniel Zorita, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 9 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sigge Holmberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigge Holmberg having to interfere. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes Lekparken FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to a score. 0-1 in the 15th minute. Julio Vera was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Måns Stålman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Måns Stålman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Sigge Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Lekparken FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lekparken FC's Cyryl Kiewra. But to his dismay, Cyryl Kiewra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Kiewra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Sigge Holmberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigge Holmberg saved Lekparken FC from getting behind. A collision led to Lekparken FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cyryl Kiewra hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigge Holmberg having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lekparken FC made a substitution. Jonas Walroth replaced Måns Stålman. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lekparken FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sigge Holmberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Walroth came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sigge Holmberg in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erling Boklund's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erling Boklund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Lekparken FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Boklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lekparken FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
