Calamuchita's Florian Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 2nd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Han Hui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Florian Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Han Hui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Truls Kirkemo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Truls Kirkemo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, C.A. Calamuchita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Truls Kirkemo to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes C.A. Calamuchita got a freekick which was hit by Truls Kirkemo. In the 37th minute, Han Hui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 45 minutes of play, C.A. Calamuchita's Han Hui made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Florian Kicia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Han Hui came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Calamuchita from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Kicia having to interfere. When C.A. Calamuchita's Han Hui in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Florian Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Ekaitz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Truls Kirkemo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Calamuchita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. 84 minutes in the game Luis Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florian Kicia. That made the score 3-1 in the 88 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2.
