Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heintje Passos started the match with the kick off. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Celso Isadore. In the 6th minute Heintje Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Javiero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Nahitantino were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Isadore took the corner. In the 21st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 22 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nahitantino the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 26 minutes Nahitantino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Felix Montes to score against Everardo Javiero in Nahitantino's goal. 0-1 after 26 minutes. Yuan Bin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Nahitantino's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Celso Isadore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Everardo Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Javiero. Nahitantino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heintje Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Everardo Javiero in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes Celso Isadore shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Ecuador's Julio Vera to catch but Celso Isadore was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Marcelino Normando hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Everardo Javiero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Everardo Javiero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Everardo Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heintje Passos in the 72nd minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nahitantino's Generoso Rivero was substituted for Celso Isadore. Nahitantino's Esteban Salvator was substituted for Heintje Passos. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Salvator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Salvator in the 80th minute of play. Angelino Che scored 2-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Everardo Javiero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Nahitantino were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
