Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Codruț Bârsan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Iustin Pandrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 14th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paschalis Karastathis in the 18th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paschalis Karastathis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Iustin Pandrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Dinu Zamfirescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tanek Gondek took the corner. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Tanek Gondek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustin Pandrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kacper Domaradzki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. Kacper Domaradzki hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Iustin Pandrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Luca Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Pandrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Doroftei in the 58th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Pandrea made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorin Doroftei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Dorin Doroftei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Doroftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM.
