Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Buenos Muchachos's Hugo Jaramillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute of the match Buenos Muchachos got a corner. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boris Maltrana ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Hugo Jaramillo made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Boix, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Hugo Jaramillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 39th minute of play forced Buenos Muchachos's goalkeeper 乔邦树 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Buenos Muchachos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateo Leguizamo took the corner. The corner led El Salvador's Moises Fernandino to fire away a dangerous shot which 乔邦树 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Lorenzo Yepes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Leguizamo's late challenge caught a Buenos Muchachos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Leguizamo helped the player get up and apologised. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Hugo Jaramillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Boix in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, Emilio Boix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Boix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenos Muchachos's goalkeeper 乔邦树, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Buenos Muchachos's Hugo Jaramillo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Buenos Muchachos booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Maltrana struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenos Muchachos.
