Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s 石克枫 started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 石克枫, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristi Zbora got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s 石克枫 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 石克枫, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nalo Bermejo was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s Cristi Zbora to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Eliu came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Eliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Aurel Mălaimare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Cristi Zbora scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM- booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes, FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s Nalo Bermejo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM- reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorinel Munteanu in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 石克枫 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristi Zbora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 石克枫, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Eliu having to interfere. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Humberto Eliu made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristi Zbora went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
