Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 30th minute, Andrea Piro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Patricio Costa made the kick off in the second half. Bedri Süvarioğlu's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bedri Süvarioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. ÇiçekFc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağız Sungurbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ÇiçekFc's Bedri Süvarioğlu got a free kick in the 77th minute. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Hüseyin Cahit Özerdem with Başar Horasan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Başar Horasan in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in ÇiçekFc's zone, Joshua Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zekai Poyraz came out of the goal and Joshua Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of ÇiçekFc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ÇiçekFc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
