After 3 played minutes Strashilishte borovest got a freekick which was hit by Boycho Dzhendov. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strashilishte borovest the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Vali Pescaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 刘永亦, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when 刘永亦 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Pescaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Vali Pescaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ivaylo Yaninski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Strashilishte borovest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boycho Dzhendov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivaylo Yaninski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when 刘永亦 scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. 刘永亦 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vali Pescaru made a kick off. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, Karamfil Danadzhiev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Pescaru in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 刘永亦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boycho Dzhendov in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Strashilishte borovest were awarded a corner. Kubrat Kirchev went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 79th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivaylo Yaninski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Strashilishte borovest:s goal. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Kubrat Kirchev:s penalty. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Ivaylo Yaninski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
