Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Florencio Ferran sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Quintyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ubaldo Kismi was slow to take the kick. During this time Húsares's players had a chance to rest. Húsares's Ubaldo Kismi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florencio Ferran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Ferran came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Florencio Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Húsares's Florencio Ferran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florencio Ferran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Florencio Ferran scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florencio Ferran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Ferran slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes Húsares got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Gasteiz. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 32nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Húsares's Florencio Ferran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 34 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Florencio Ferran sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The crowd rose to their feet as Húsares's Florencio Ferran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 5-0 after 43 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Ferran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Ferran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ubaldo Kismi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ubaldo Kismi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Húsares's Florencio Ferran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 64 minutes into the match, Húsares's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fabio Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Gasteiz made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Kismi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teobaldo Ibon scored 7-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Húsares's Carlos Miliano was substituted for Josué Vargas. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Ibon in the 75th minute of the match. Fabio Quintyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Húsares were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ubaldo Kismi took the corner. The Húsares fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Teobaldo Ibon put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When the referee ended the match the Húsares players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
