Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomil Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaud Konieczny got free with Julio Vera in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A very nice done corner allowed Antonio Arias to score against Ludomil Kajdasz in Herblay's goal. 0-1 after 11 minutes. Arnaud Konieczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvain Missonnier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonin Dagorne in the 19th minute of play. Noureddine Gerbeau charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noureddine Gerbeau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Noureddine Gerbeau hit a great ball. Ludomil Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaud Konieczny. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Antonin Dagorne got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Arnaud Konieczny sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomil Kajdasz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arnaud Konieczny made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud Konieczny in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Bougault came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomil Kajdasz made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ludomil Kajdasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Herblay's Joël Willaume nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noureddine Gerbeau hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ludomil Kajdasz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 86 minutes, Joël Willaume mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herblay and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Joël Willaume. In the 88th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Herblay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Cadart in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball.
