Koby Wright struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Stamen Kapitanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canada. In the 35th play minute Sten Askestät came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jax Williamson. 1-0. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. Canada were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after FC Builder Sofia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Koby Wright took the corner. In the 47th minute, Sten Askestät hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Askestät made a kick off. Stamen Kapitanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Canada's Koby Wright nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a little luck, FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov got control of the ball when Jan Dixon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamen Kapitanov having to interfere. Jan Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stamen Kapitanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamen Kapitanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Dixon in the 89th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Mccarthy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stamen Kapitanov. That made the score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Jan Dixon sped through FC Builder Sofia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stamen Kapitanov. Canada's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
