The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Abram Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eric Herzog. That made the score 0-9 after 65 minutes of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 70th minute of the match, Pascual Carballar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eric Herzog was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Poli Timisoara's Eric Herzog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Wörns in the 79th minute of the match. That made the score 0-13 in the 85 minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Ulrich Tschida notched a goal, 1-13, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91stth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poli Timisoara's Eric Herzog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Eric Herzog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Herzog was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Abram Secada capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abram Secada really showed his touch with that goal: 1-14. Colombia played a much better game than Poli Timisoara and deserved their victory. The Poli Timisoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
