After 4 minutes of play, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Sultan-Mehmet Khan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spase Kastrati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Spase Kastrati. Spase Kastrati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Spase Kastrati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. Sultan-Mehmet Khan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Spase Kastrati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spase Kastrati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Sultan-Mehmet Khan sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Spase Kastrati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Dias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ville Manneroos in the 32 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sultan-Mehmet Khan in the 39th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spase Kastrati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Ville Manneroos in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 56 minutes into the game, Alonso Berganza threw the ball into play from the sideline. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Jiang Nan Song quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Spase Kastrati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save ✩ Pep Team ✩ from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Sultan-Mehmet Khan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Sultan-Mehmet Khan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sultan-Mehmet Khan in the 75th minute of play. Sultan-Mehmet Khan struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ✩ Pep Team ✩. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ville Manneroos, made in the 78th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan-Mehmet Khan in the 80th minute of play. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ville Manneroos, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Spase Kastrati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Antonio Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spase Kastrati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Tenorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to Peru's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Roman Riquelme tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Rolando Noboa seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. In the 97th minute ✩ Pep Team ✩ were awarded a corner. Roman Riquelme went to the cornerflag to take it.
