Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristobal Unax started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Guillotina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 9thth minute of the game Cristobal Unax who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was German Innocenzio who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Unax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Unaxs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Miguel Nahia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Lain in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, La Guillotina's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jonathan Che reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Unax's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. La Guillotina were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. German Innocenzio took the corner. In the 31st match minute, La Guillotina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Cuarto to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Cristobal Unax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Cristobal Unax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Che having to interfere. Jonathan Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Che in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Ecuador booed when La Guillotina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Winnepennincks didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Lain in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, German Innocenzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Guillotina's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Che came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cristobal Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, La Guillotina's goalkeeper Jonathan Che had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Unax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. La Guillotina's German Innocenzio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. La Guillotina made a substitution. Celso Ihintza replaced Miguel Nahia. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Ihintza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Che was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. La Guillotina's Jonathan Che proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save La Guillotina from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Che made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 91st minute.
