Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeusz Petka in the 20th minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Czeslaw Karwowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Sparta Torex's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute, Antoni Domamir made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dominik Kornatowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sparta Torex's Dominik Kornatowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Sparta Torex's Wit Buczko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sparta Torex's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. A collision led to Sparta Torex getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bartosz Jaktorowo hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Wojciech Gaszynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Kornatowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot.
