In the 13th minute of the match ZEZOM TEAM got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julian Pyrzyce ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avram Râznicu in the 16th minute. ZEZOM TEAM's attentive Gernando Costa managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of play forced ZEZOM TEAM's goalkeeper Enzo Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Laas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Teves was the one to do the kick off. Joaquim Teves took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 61st minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enzo Morais saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after ZEZOM TEAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Enzo Morais despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Râznicu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Râznicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Enzo Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ZEZOM TEAM made a substitution. Jiang Si Nan replaced Avram Râznicu. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Armando Mascarenhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
