Ján Tuleja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Gonzales's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Marek Janič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Ricart made a huge save. 17 minutes into the game, Elpidio Gonzales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ján Tuleja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Gonzales to strike the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Tuleja having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Melon's Ján Tuleja got control of the ball when Elpidio Gonzales tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, TEMPLE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matej Adamec came free, but Rodolfo Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Rolandsson in the 71st minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TEMPLE F.C. made a substitution. Guido Chago replaced Karl-Magnus Rolandsson. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Melon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feliciano Salomon was slow to take the kick. During this time TEMPLE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. FC Melon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Erik Žitňár fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Melon's protests and gave Erik Žitňár a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Elpidio Gonzales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
