In the 27th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. AlbaStars FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, İslam Keşif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, AlbaStars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Murillo Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes AlbaStars FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that AlbaStars FC's Murillo Fantini managed to reach the ball for a save. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Ecuador's Luis Andino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Murillo Fantini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fitim Tasili in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The corner ended in Felix Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AlbaStars FC's Murillo Fantini did a great save. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Murillo Fantini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iustin Ştiopul scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Murillo Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. Murillo Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, AlbaStars FC's goalkeeper Murillo Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After 93 played minutes AlbaStars FC got a freekick which was hit by Clovis Baraton. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Iustin Ştiopul kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ecuador played a much better game than AlbaStars FC and deserved their victory. The AlbaStars FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
