Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ruben Casado kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ruben Casado tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play forced Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ioan Cocârlă came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Colognese FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioan Cocârlă couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ruben Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Colognese FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ioan Cocârlă took the corner. Ioan Cocârlă made a great header on Colognese FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Colognese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Alfredinho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alfredinho Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Colognese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alfredinho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Casado in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Ruben Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Casado got free with Julio Vera in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 48 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ioan Cocârlă who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ioan Cocârlă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes of play, Colognese FC's Ruben Casado made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Silvério Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Ruben Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sebastián Puig during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Colognese FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
