Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaj Låsberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Benjamin Pabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 minutes, Godfredo Barroso made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the AFC Cherries players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeki Engintalay in the 15th minute of play. Godfredo Barroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Luciano Cuenca came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the AFC Cherries fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Cuenca couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Cuenca in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Luciano Cuenca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luciano Cuenca really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Luciano Cuenca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeki Engintalay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Benjamin Pabon sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Guto Jacinto made a huge save. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Cherries's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guto Jacinto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Låsberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Cuenca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC Cherries made a substitution. Markus Jordán replaced Václav Buš. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Godfredo Barroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Cuenca in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Godfredo Barroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AFC Cherries was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Judas Priest didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, AFC Cherries was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Judas Priest to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Guto Jacinto made a huge save. Luciano Cuenca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Cuenca in the 91st minute of the match. AFC Cherries's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
