Bruno Baumar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes La luz del Lider ❤ got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Nayely. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind La luz del Lider ❤'s goalkeeper Bruno Baumar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Eduardo Quinito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Eduardo Quinito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 34th minute. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of La luz del Lider ❤ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a La luz del Lider ❤'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Chi Chulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bruno Baumar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 54th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Baumar made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. La luz del Lider ❤'s Eduardo Quinito got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Chico Trans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La luz del Lider ❤'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 67 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Khaldoun Knorr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaldoun Knorr in the 89th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaldoun Knorr in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
