The referee ignored Robíño Football Club's protests and gave Fang Ting Yan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Robíño Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fang Ting Yan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Arab scored 2-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
