Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vänge IF's Danilo Markel got a free kick in the 5th minute. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Giordani's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Hernando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Arrigo Di Mattia hit a great ball. Ciriaco Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute of play. When Vänge IF's Mauro Otsoa in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Mauro Otsoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Mauro Otsoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciriaco Hernando in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Bruno Giordani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 30th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Hernando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute of the game, Orlando Casaus landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Geva Lia fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vänge IF's protests and gave Geva Lia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geva Lia to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Otsoa came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Hernando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Hernando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Di Mattia during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arrigo Di Mattia kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Vänge IF from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro James came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Hernando having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Hernando made a huge save. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Hernando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
