With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Rajendran Kalra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Subhash Paranjpe in the 15th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Subhash Paranjpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Subhash Paranjpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PANUNDA F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 32nd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anyuna Parab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anyuna Parab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rajendran Kalra. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Subhash Paranjpe made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, PANUNDA F C's Anyuna Parab got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anyuna Parab. PANUNDA F C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Anyuna Parab made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Chile were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
