To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone Summerfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Muñeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tyrone Summerfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Tobias Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muñeco FC's Tyrone Summerfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. Tyrone Summerfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Adan Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Muñeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Palban to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Tyrone Summerfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piotr Furgal to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Víctor Franco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 60th minute. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyrone Summerfield read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tyrone Summerfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Muñeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Ellande to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Adan Lizer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muñeco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Muñeco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tyrone Summerfield. After 77 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tyrone Summerfield was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone Summerfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tyrone Summerfield. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Muñeco FC's Tyrone Summerfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 87th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 93rd minute of play forced Muñeco FC's goalkeeper Tyrone Summerfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Muñeco FC's Tyrone Summerfield got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tyrone Summerfield having to make a save.
