Flashdynamica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Zalm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Flashdynamica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Camilo Gaos lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 8 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Koen Poels managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flashdynamica's supporters rose to their feet, but Koen Poels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucien Pietersma, made in the 20th minute of the game. Venezuela's attentive Jonathan Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Lucien Pietersma made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Flashdynamica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Edgard Veldkamp hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Barry Zalm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Barry Zalm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Barry Zalm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barry Zalm really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barry Zalm in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barry Zalm made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Barry Zalm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 54th minute Barry Zalm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Barry Zalm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barry Zalm scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Veldkamp hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flashdynamica's Xavi Simons was substituted for Barry Zalm. After a defensive mix-up in Flashdynamica's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrik-Jan Krommert came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Flashdynamica's Xavi Simons. But to his dismay, Xavi Simons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 94th match minute, Flashdynamica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Veldkamp to maneuver through the defense.
