Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Rosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 12 in the game by Cleiton Vidal from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cleiton Vidal sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. In the 16thth minute of the game Cleiton Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 18th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. William Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Vidal in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleiton Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Cleiton Vidal got free in front of the goal in the 41st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Julio Vera was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. William Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but William Rosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. William Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleiton Vidal to make the kick off. Cleiton Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, José Augusto Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg William Rosa managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute, Cleiton Vidal made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Vidal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isaltino Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Kaká Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Cleiton Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 86 played minutes Vila Mascote FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Mota. In the 94th match minute, Vila Mascote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Brito to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Vila Mascote FC's José Augusto Brito got a free kick in the 96th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vila Mascote FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
