Adama Traore scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vidal was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Julio Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Abram Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Julio Vidal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bertil Bergström made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 46 minutes into the match, Los kyes's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Julio Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Tafalla's late challenge caught a Los kyes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Tafalla helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iker Quintin in the 52 minute of the game. After 54 played minutes Los kyes got a freekick which was hit by Nderim Pepo. Julio Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play. After 61st play minutes Abram Sarmiento shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vidal and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 70th match minute, Los kyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anko Krústinov to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Julio Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Tafalla in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 81st minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kong Lin Ning kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 91 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raphael Santalla who took care of the corner kick.
