Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Tobias Siggman came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the corsaire nantais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Siggman couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, corsaire nantais's Tobias Siggman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Eliseu do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu do Valle having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseu do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu do Valle. Eliseu do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tobias Siggman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. corsaire nantais's Eliseu do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Tobias Siggman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Siggman to make the kick off. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu do Valle having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! corsaire nantais's attentive Philibert Robillard managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Tobias Siggman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Fuchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Daniel Zorita fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eliseu do Valle, passed just outside the right post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Fuchs in the 77th minute of play. Eliseu do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseu do Valle. corsaire nantais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yves Fuchs went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. 92 minutes into the game, Marius Lebel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. corsaire nantais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 91st minute, one of corsaire nantais:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for corsaire nantais. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Chopin during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to corsaire nantais getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Tony Chopin hit a great ball. The corsaire nantais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
