Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Racing F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Oscar Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Racing F. C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Moises Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Souto having to interfere. Ulysses Rezende made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Moisés Damião however managed to control. In the 25th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Racing F. C's Oscar Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute of play forced Racing F. C's goalkeeper Oscar Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Racing F. C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo José de Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo suffered a fractured collar bone after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Percival Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing F. C's protests and gave Percival Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when Racing F. C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing F. C's goalkeeper Oscar Souto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Racing F. C's Oscar Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Racing F. C from getting a goal against them. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Souto having to interfere. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Oscar Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 74th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Oscar Souto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 92nd minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Souto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Espinar went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
