Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Váldson do Vale kicked off to start the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Benito Sanz, was totally fooled by PieLar FC's Lino Fonda, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 12th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Váldson do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Váldson do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Váldson do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson do Vale in the 26th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the PieLar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Fernando Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, PieLar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Fernando Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, PieLar FC's Váldson do Vale made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Noboa was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Váldson do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when PieLar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Burni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Fernando Erasto in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Váldson do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Váldson do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Hugo Ferrant made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Puig however managed to control. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson do Vale in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of PieLar FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Tiadoro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson do Vale came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Váldson do Vale made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that PieLar FC were the better team. PieLar FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
