Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Jonathan Cordarrol got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Fix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cornelio Cesaro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. In the 24th minute Dimitris Maropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Cesaro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Fix having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Rafael Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Pan Queso y Leberbush FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Cordarrol. In the 43rd minute Cornelio Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Palleschi was slow to take the kick. During this time Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dimitris Maropoulos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitris Maropoulos was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Fix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Maropoulos in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustín Saelices's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rafael Fix firmly grabbed it by the left post. Americo Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Rafael Fix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Pan Queso y Leberbush FC from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Maropoulos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pan Queso y Leberbush FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
