Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovânio Proença went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Caxinha F. C.'s Silvério Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matías Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caxinha F. C.. With a little luck, Caxinha F. C.'s Silvério Andrade got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute Matías Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Geovânio Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save.
