Sylvain Witschard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Totenteich getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Earvin Gilli hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sylvain Witschard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Sylvain Witschard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Totenteich's Sylvain Witschard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match FC Totenteich got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Philippe Stocker ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Totenteich's goalkeeper Sylvain Witschard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugene Feiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Eugene Feiss recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Eugene Feiss showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, 赵桑适 took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, FC Totenteich's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sylvain Witschard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Totenteich's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Sylvain Witschard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Totenteich's Sylvain Witschard did a great save. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Axel Deschenes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Totenteich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Totenteich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Deschenes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sylvain Witschard in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 赵桑适 in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sylvain Witschard came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 59th minute. A hard shot 62 in the game by Agustín Saelices from a close distance when the talented Sylvain Witschard managed to make a qualified save. FC Totenteich's players were relieved. FC Totenteich's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Antonio Arias scored to the left of an out of position Sylvain Witschard, making the score, 3-3. With his leg Sylvain Witschard managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FC Totenteich's Sylvain Witschard managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 77th minute, Nigel Andermatt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germain Arnold during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FC Totenteich's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylvain Witschard came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugene Feiss in the 96th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
