Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Fidensio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ernesto Etxahun sent off a good shot on target. When El Salvador's Moises Fernandino in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Modestio Constancio FC's goalie prevented a goal. Esteve Fidensio came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ernesto Etxahun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Magrina to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Leguizamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Esteve Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ernesto Etxahuns short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Etxahun came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Curcio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abram Luque's late challenge caught a Modestio Constancio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abram Luque helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. Fermin Tabb made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Modesto Constancio. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 71st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Modestio Constancio FC the free kick. In the 82nd minute, one of El Salvador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Salvador. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Modestio Constancio FC. Rodolfo Curcio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardo Zorita. 1-2. Pascual Cai struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modestio Constancio FC. After 88 played minutes, Modestio Constancio FC's Rodolfo Curcio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Modestio Constancio FC reached it. During the 92nd minute of the match Luis Rubio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luis Rubio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Modestio Constancio FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Gimenez in the 97th minute of play.
