After 13 played minutes SESI UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Linares. After 15 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Matorin in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match SESI UNITED got a corner. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bakhar Mkheidze ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernandão Linares during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 邱永志 took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tincho Palermo sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SESI UNITED's Betinho Moura. Betinho Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Betinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Ma Kuan Yun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ma Kuan Yun really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Matorin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tincho Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tincho Palermo in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Tincho Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tincho Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 64th minute, Ma Kuan Yun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move. Cristiano Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Betinho Moura made a huge save. After 69 minutes of play SESI UNITED's Fernandão Linares was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of El Salvador booed when SESI UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Adrianinho Vasconcelos made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind SESI UNITED's goalkeeper Betinho Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tincho Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 83 minutes, 邱永志 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SESI UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but 邱永志 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Bakhar Mkheidze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Tincho Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that SESI UNITED were the better team. SESI UNITED's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
