Przemyslaw Pliszka might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Przemyslaw Pliszka sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Pliszka in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vanko Chorbadzhiyski was slow to take the kick. During this time VV Werchrata's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on VV Werchrata's corner 彭阳希 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hany Moamen having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, VV Werchrata could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
