CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Arenaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filipp Tihonovich, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Ecuador booed when CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Mikelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP's Glen Sas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP's Filipp Tihonovich. But to his dismay, Filipp Tihonovich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP's goalkeeper Nestor Arenaza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Glen Sas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glen Sas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP made a substitution. Tolek Wojtkiewicz replaced Glen Sas. Glen Sas hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Filipp Tihonovich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nestor Arenaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP's Joaquin Socorro was substituted for Zdzislaw Radzyminski. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Arenaza having to interfere. Primitivo Andino made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CIRUGIA CARDIOVASCULAR LP's Tolek Wojtkiewicz. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
