Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qian Ying Lang having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qian Ying Lang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The LIVERPOOL FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when LIVERPOOL FC's Aurel Corlățean looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Aurel Corlățean sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Liviu Rada scored 2-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Corlățean. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Rada in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Pedro Marquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Rada. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Aurel Corlățean tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVERPOOL FC's Liviu Rada. But to his dismay, Liviu Rada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Liviu Rada came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the LIVERPOOL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Rada couldn't finish the play. Aurel Corlățean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Qian Ying Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When LIVERPOOL FC's Jurand Wielopolski in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Jurand Wielopolski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Qian Ying Lang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Jurand Wielopolski put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 88th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qian Ying Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute of play.
