Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Francis Lehrer made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the game, Gavin Giacomozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Gavin Giacomozzi got a free kick in the 44th minute. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney Baiano in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Sydney Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Vitório Goiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ignacio Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere.
