Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Dawiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wlodzimierz Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Mörbyhus Palace's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Wlodzimierz Dawiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Ingemar Tolsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ingemar Tolsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Hellsing in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Mörbyhus Palace:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. Tomas Illescas did an outstanding performance 30 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Wlodzimierz Dawiec in the goal. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Tommy Hagström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes Ingemar Tolsson rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. In the 42nd minute, Jens-Ola Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Mörbyhus Palace's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobias Nyberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 47th minute. Mörbyhus Palace made a substitution. Kenny Carlsson replaced Tobias Nyberg. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kenny Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Mörbyhus Palace's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Dawiec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Wlodzimierz Dawiec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute. Martin Söderqwist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Dawiec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Carlsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Kenny Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Mörbyhus Palace's Wlodzimierz Dawiec. Wlodzimierz Dawiec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Carlsson in the 89th minute of play. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Venezuela to win.
