Elroy Kolb kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório Goiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, FC Barcelona's Sydney Baiano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Berthold Wy hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Vitório Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91st minute, Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elroy Kolb went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
