Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastián Melo kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of play forced Fiery Chargers's goalkeeper Clemente de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Melo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente de Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente de Godoi. Fiery Chargers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Facundo Cadaval was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente de Godoi having to interfere. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mexico booed when Fiery Chargers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avelino Amado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente de Godoi having to interfere. Clemente de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play forced Fiery Chargers's goalkeeper Clemente de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fiery Chargers's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Saúl Freire hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Sebastián Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A hard shot 59 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Clemente de Godoi managed to make a qualified save. Fiery Chargers's players were relieved. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! The referee gave Fiery Chargers a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flavio Mendes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. 2-2. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fiery Chargers's Jorge Rebello was substituted for Avelino Amado. In the 70th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Fiery Chargers's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente de Godoi came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Clemente de Godoi however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th match minute, Fiery Chargers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Malheiro to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Rebello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
